Orange County, FL — Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs and the Haitian American Art Network, Inc., will present the works of Jean Bernard Thomas in the Orange County Multicultural Center Art Gallery. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Jean Bernard Thomas is a Haitian-born painter whose work explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world through still life, abstract, and surrealist styles. Born in Jacmel, a historic center of Haitian art, he developed an early passion for drawing and visual storytelling. His work reflects Haiti’s cultural richness while exploring universal themes of harmony, resilience, and the spiritual connection between humans and nature.
Thomas currently maintains a partnership with the Haitian American Art Network, Inc. (HAAN) as one of its Co-Artistic Directors, helping to cultivate and promote the richness of Haitian culture through music and visual art.
