CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) — Visitors at a Corning art gallery will soon have the chance to see an exhibition filled with local artists’ creations.

MOSAIC 2024 will be open at the Houghton Gallery at 171 Cedar Arts for just over one month. This exhibition will feature paintings, pottery, embroidery, multi-media works, and more from 20 artists from across the region. Each artist will have up to 16 works in the exhibition, and the artwork was selected by a panel. The artwork will be for sale, and 171 Cedar Arts suggests purchasing the pieces for holiday gifts.

Replicas of historic U.S. documents come to Steuben County

MOSAIC 2024 will be open to the public from Nov. 8 through Dec. 14. The community is invited to celebrate the opening at a reception on the exhibition’s first day. The reception will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Houghton Gallery, and remarks will be at 6 p.m.

171 Cedar Arts is a non-profit multi-art and community center with a campus comprised of two historical buildings in Corning. The Houghton Gallery is located inside the Drake House at 155 Cedar St.
