An artist with a rather sad life was Frida Kahlo. She was a Mexican painter, known for her deeply personal portraits and art, and she used her medium to share and express her pain, her heartbreak, her dilemmas, and much more. From the time of her childhood Polio to the unhappy relationship with Diego, Frida endured a lot in life.
But the painting that brought her fame was ‘The Two Fridas’, in which the audience sees two versions of Frida, sitting side by side, holding hands, and while one of them is wearing a white dress with a bleeding heart, the other has on a traditional Mexican dress.
