Kyushu Electric Power has partnered with SBINFT, a subsidiary of the SBI Group, to sell digital artworks as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The service, launching on June 24, will feature works from Kyushu Electric’s “Digi-Garo” platform, part of its KYUDEN i-PROJECT. Artworks curated by contracted professionals will be sold on the SBINFT Market platform. Purchases can be made with credit cards, targeting consumers unfamiliar with cryptocurrency. At launch, over 50 works by more than 10 artists will be available. A portion of sales will be shared with artists and curators. The initiative aims to distinguish digital art from speculative crypto trading by emphasizing artistic value through expert evaluation. Source: Kyushu Electric Power / Digi-Garo
