Aspen, Colorado may be best known as a mecca for outdoor adventure enthusiasts, but it holds a wealth of cultural outlets, inside too. Amid this creative landscape is Intersect Aspen Art and Design Fair, which is set to return for its latest edition this July 29–August 3. With a diverse roster of new and returning galleries and a full slate of programming, the 2025 edition is set to be the most expansive iteration yet.

“With the great success of last year, we are capitalizing on that momentum to celebrate our 15th year in Aspen with the most exciting and inspiring fair to date,” says Tim von Gal, CEO, Intersect Art and Design. “More galleries, more presenting artists, extended dates, and such wonderful cultural and community partners are producing overwhelming interest and attention as ticket requests continue at a record pace.”
Highlights from the exhibitor presentations include work by pioneering artist Shepard Fairey featured at 212 Galery, as well as work by actor and fast-rising artist Pierce Brosnan, with Rusha and Co. And for those collectors who prize meeting with artists themselves, von Gal notes, “This year will feature an unparalleled roster of inspirational artists in attendance—Cristina Mittermeier, David Drebin, Donna Isham, Topher Straus, Jil Weinstock, Gino Miles, Kay Seohyung Lee, Charles Christopher Hill, and J. Ruel Martin to note just a few.”

A hallmark of the fair is the incredible breadth of artistic mediums and styles on display, from paintings by blue-chip juggernauts like Fernando Botero to experimental photography by creators such as Marta Fabregas and everything in between.
Complementing the fair’s exhibitor booths is a dynamic schedule of programming rife with highlights. “Intersect Aspen’s thought-provoking programming will include a special presentation and signing by the world renown photographer, Maryam Eisler. Maryam will be joined by internationally recognized members of the art world, Carrie Scott and Heidi Zuckerman, to discuss her new collaborative work, WEST WEST,” von Gal says.

Other standouts include a conversation with Mittermeier, a conservation photographer, artist, and co-found of SeaLegacy (a nonprofit dedicated to conserving the oceans), and, later, a panel focusing on the intersection of art and the local Aspen community, “Big Mountains, Bold Thinking: Inspired by the Infinite.”
Together, Intersect Aspen Art and Design Fair promises to be a tentpole event of the art world’s summer calendar, with von Gal saying, “We are thrilled to have such excitement around the fair.”
Intersect Aspen Art and Design Fair will be held July 29–August 3, 2025.
