THE ENGLISH CHARM: Brush and Palette Art Group president Marilyn Dover Benson enjoys painting thatched cottages from her homeland of England.

The group is comprised of seven members, including president Marilyn Dover Benson, Minnie Anderson, Barbara Shepard, Hattie Stoddard, Beverly Hoebel, Robert Hoebel, and Vora Souza. Most of them are classic brush painters, though there are a few exceptions. Robert, for instance, primarily uses an airbrushing technique, and Anderson enjoys using graphite to make her detailed creations.
