LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Tates Creek High School is hosting a students’ spring art exhibition beginning May 11.

The “Self Portraits Across Time” exhibition opens April 11, and will be featured for two weeks in the Commodore Galleries of the arts wing at Tates Creek High School. The opening reception is from 5 to 7 p.m.

More than 50 art pieces by 35 students from advanced painting classes are featured in the exhibition. The pieces are to be hung in museum style with professional labels, artist statements, and historical information.

  1. Fifteenth century Italian profile portraits
  2. Seventeenth century Dutch Baroque
  3. Early twentieth century analytical cubism
