A seven-day children’s art exhibition, titled ‘Dolan Art Exhibition 2026’ and themed ‘Colourful Dream’, concluded on Saturday at Zainul Gallery, Dhaka University.
The exhibition was organised by the popular magazine ‘Dolan’.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated on May 3, displayed the works of more than 100 child artists across four age groups. Through the displayed artworks, children and adolescents depicted nature, patriotism, rural life, dreams, imagination, and various contemporary ideas.
At the closing ceremony, National Book Centre Director and poet AHM Shakhawat Ullah attended as the chief guest, while the Dean of the faculty of fine arts, Md. Azharul Islam Chanchal, and DU sculpture department professor A.A.M. Kawsar Hasan attended as special guests.
The event was chaired by Dolan Editor Kamal Mustafa.
The ceremony also comprised an award ceremony and musical performances at the venue.
A total of 20 artists won ‘Category Best’ awards at the event.
