ALPENA — The community is cordially invited to attend the opening reception for artists Pat Manning and Elizabeth Preston from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 7 at the Alpena Community College Olin H. Joynton Fine Arts Center.
This reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Manning’s solo exhibition in the ACC Art+Design Gallery will feature her watercolor paintings.
Preston’s solo exhibition in the ACC Art+Design Lounge will feature her encaustic paintings.
The exhibitions will remain on display through April 25. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 665 Johnson St., Alpena.

Manning is also teaching The World of Watercolor workshops from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 3, 10, 24, and 31, April 7, 14, 28, and May 5 in Room 102 of the Fine Arts Center. The cost is $75, which includes studio space and basic watercolor supplies. To register, visit forms.office.com/r/Lr8K2DnVKB.
