MAHWAH — About 120 students from the township’s high school will exhibit their work at the 12th annual Art and Design Exhibition on May 30 and May 31.
The exhibition is curated by students and will highlight original artwork, woodworking items, digital media projects, the school’s Calliope literary magazine, technology and engineering projects. The annual exhibit helped the school earn a 2024-25 STEM School of Excellence citation from the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association.

Included in this year’s exhibit will be the children’s book “The Adventures of Bergen the Bear.” The self-published book by students Katherine Jedynak and Mary Eggers and illustrated by Riley Kim was a key component in the school’s Community Problem Solving team’s “Project Bear Aware” student education project. It took first place in the senior division of the State Future Problem-Solving Bowl in March.
