It’s gonna be a while before we see Rayman come back with a new game, but in the meantime, a lovely-looking art book may tide fans over.
It’s called Into the Glade of Dreams: The Art & Design of Rayman, and it’s a collaboration between Ubisoft, Cook and Becker, and Lost in Cult.
The hardcover book contains over 250 pages, and it details Rayman’s evolution from early day sketches and pixel art to the painterly, cartoonish worlds of the later games.
It features “rare concept art, character studies, design documents, and development anecdotes from the artists and designers who brought him to life”, detailing the development of Rayman and the surrounding characters from various games.
The book is available in two editions; the standard edition is $54.95, while the $149 collector’s edition throws in a slipcase with Rayman feet and a magnetic ring, several character magnets, and an exclusive art print.
Both are available for pre-order, with the window closing Christmas 2025. The collector’s edition will only be available for purchase during this pre-order period.
The book is expected to ship Fall 2026, so it’ll take a while to get into your hands, but this looks like a great coffee table tome for fans of the Ubisoft platformer.
