A former Costa Coffee in Huyton is being transformed into a multi-use space including a barber’s shop, art gallery and cafe.

The site on Cavendish Walk occupies a prominent corner position and is currently undergoing internal improvements.

The owner, Ozgur Soylu, is moving his existing barbers, L1 Styles, in the village centre to the bigger unit, as well as expanding his offer.

The business will be renamed The Art Gallery and the barbers is due to open next week, with the art gallery and coffee shop opening in a few weeks’ time.

Soylu said: “It’s great to see the improvements being made in Huyton Village Centre and I know that the council has ambitious plans to deliver much more, so I wanted to ensure that I’m firmly part of those transformation plans for Huyton.

“I always had plans to grow my business so when a bigger unit became available in such a prime location in the Village Centre, I jumped at the chance to move my business there, as well as expanding my offer.”
