An art exhibition featuring the work of Norwich artist Dan Topalis is open at Dada Post, 125 Boswell Ave., according to a community announcement.
The exhibition, titled “Dan Topalis: Interchanges & Intersections,” is open every Saturday through July 1.
Topalis is showcasing two distinct series in the exhibition: the “Crazy Clown Series” from 2022 and the ongoing “Dots” series of 2026. The Crazy Clown Series features clowns performing various feats of agility, balance and coordination, while the Dots series consists of colorful, patterned compositions using usually only two colors.
Topalis prefers to work with acrylic on canvas. He was born in Norwich and graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1973. He also studied at the Philadelphia College of Art.
In addition to being an artist, Topalis is a gallery owner and a strong advocate for the local arts community. He showcases the work of fellow artists at his Gallery at The Wauregan in downtown Norwich.
The exhibition is open Saturdays, and visitors should enter through the Division Street Extension.
