Explorers 4K UHD from Vinegar Syndrome

Explorers is coming to 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray from Vinegar Syndrome. Expected to ship in early June, it’s limited to 8,000 and costs $46.99.

The 1985 sci-fi adventure film has been newly restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative in Dolby Vision with both its theatrical and home video versions.

Prom Night Board Game from Beyond Killer Games

Prom Night: The Game, a board game based on Jamie Lee Curtis’ 1980 slasher film, is up for pre-order from Beyond Killer Games.

Made for 1-4 players, the cooperative survival experience challenges players to work together to keep the killer from reaching the high school prom.

A 9×13 game board, eight characters, one killer game piece, 40 game cards, three weapons, one save badge, 12 prom tickets, eight road blocks, one killer’s path card, three dice, one kill spinner, and a rule book are included.

Due out in December, it costs $49. The first 100 orders receive a free trivia expansion.


Silent Night, Deadlier Night by Armando Muñoz 

Silent Night, Deadlier Night, an all-new sequel novel to the 1984 cult classic film, will be published on November 10 via Titan Books.

The 366-page book is written by Armando Muñoz, who previously authored the Silent Night, Deadly Night novelization.

Set on Christmas Eve 20 years after the events of the original film, a new Santa stalks the frozen streets, armed with a red sack and a gleaming fire axe identical to Billy’s. And he has a naughty list to settle.


Threads 4K UHD from Severin Films

Threads will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on July 28 via Severin Films.

The 1984 apocalyptic drama has been newly restored in 4K from the original 16mm A/B rolls. It’s accompanied by the new documentary Survivors: The Spectre of Threads.

Hokum Vinyl from Waxwork Records

The Hokum soundtrack is coming to vinyl from Waxwork Records. Priced at $35, it’s expected to ship in July.

Composed by Joseph Bishara (Insidious, The Conjuring), the score is pressed on “Honeymoon Suite” pearlescent red and black swirl colored vinyl.

It’s housed in a heavyweight gatefold jacket featuring a lenticular cover, matte UV coating, and a printed inner sleeve with art by Dane Hallett.


Saw: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book by Britt Hayes

Saw: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book will be published on September 22 via Rizzoli Universe.

Written by Britt Hayes, illustrated by Vance Kelly, and engineered by David Hawcock, the 12-page novelty book features more than 20 pop-ups that bring the Saw franchise’s most unforgettable moments to life.

Readers can turn wheels, pull tabs, move levers, and relive the Reverse Bear Trap, Angel Trap, and the bathroom set that started it all in the richly detailed and outrageously interactive book.


Unlawful Entry 4K UHD from Scream Factory

Unlawful Entry will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on July 21 via Scream Factory.

The 1992 psychological thriller has been scanned in 4K from the 35mm internegative, presented in Dolby Vision.

Mothra Designer Figure from Mondo

Mondo has a Mothra designer figure by Urban Aztec up for pre-order through May 19. Priced at $195, it’s expected to ship in February 2027.

Sculpted by Brenton Henriques, the soft vinyl figure measures 9″ tall with an 18″ wingspan. A display stand is included.


Dopefoot by Joshua Millican

Former Dread Central writer Joshua Millican will publish a Bigfoot novel titled Dopefoot on June 16 via Mad Axe Media.

The 224-page book is described as “a distinctly Californian spin on dark woodland horror, a gory cryptid mystery fueled by butane, THC, and amphetamines.”


Ready or Not 2: Here I Come Blu-ray from Searchlight

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 16 via Searchlight Pictures. Sadly, no 4K is planned.

Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence and writers Guy Busick & R. Christopher Murphy are back at the helm for the sequel.
