TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Local artists took to the NOTO streets for a day chalk full of art.
The annual Chalk Walk gave Topekans the chance to create their own designs along the NOTO sidewalks.
The district also held its youth supply sale, giving young artists a selection of art products.
“You can come out here no matter what level you’re at,” Staci Schacker with NOTO Arts and Entertainment District said. “Just have some fun and that’s what this is really all about. If you want to put out some inspirational messages, if you want to create a chalk art masterpiece, we really welcome anything.“
The district also hosted a contest for the best chalk design.
